All About Tea
Both tea and chocolate are antioxidants and do your body some good.
A Penn State review of available evidence from 66 published studies, supports the view that consuming flavonoid like rich tea and chocolate, in moderation, can be associated with reduced risk for cardiovascular disease. According to Dr. Penny Kris-Etherton, a professor of nutrition and lead author of the Penn State review, "Since tea, without milk or sugar, contains no calories, it's an ideal way to add antioxidant flavonoids to your diet without increasing your weight. Having a chocolate cookie that also contains fruit and nuts along with the tea, if consumed in moderation, can be a heart healthy snack."
It may be possible to boost memory with a plant compound called epicatechin, which is found in foods and drinks including blueberries, grapes, tea, and cocoa. According to Oxford researchers working with colleagues in Norway, chocolate and tea enhance cognitive performance. Participants who consumed chocolate, wine, or tea had significantly better mean test scores and lower prevalence of poor cognitive performance than those who did not.
Brew a pot of tea and enjoy it with some chocolate. Milka chocolate is some of the worlds best.
